Land Acknowledgement 

Enwonder Arts is currently based in the city of Saint John/Menaquesk which is the traditional and unceded territory of the Wolastogiyik/Maliseet. The Wolastogiyik/Maliseet as well as the Mi'Kmaq/Mi'kmaw and Passamaquoddy/Peskotomuhkati signed Peace and Friendship Treaties in the 1700s with the British Crown, which were to protect their rights to land and resources. 

As I learn to acknowledge my complicity in settler-colonialism, I understand my ancestors came to this land and had the privileges and unearned benefits as peoples of European origin. I am in the process of learning more about how to honour the elders of the past and present, to better comprehend the impacts of colonization, and to commit to transformation, reciprocity, and change.
